In the new study, scientists created a 3D model of the megalodon to shed light on its movements and feeding habits. Nevertheless, researchers could analyze the nature of prehistoric beasts with a huge amount of light in comparison to the fossilised remains of their prehistoric animals. Most scientists believe that megalodon disappeared a few thousand years ago as the ocean cooled and influenced the development and evolution of the food chain. This a relative of the earliest modern day great white shark was an extremely large carnivore, who ever hunted the seas that dominate our planets surface, a lone creature that is the most vast of creatures on earth.
